In October, Cape Town enjoys mild spring weather, with average daytime temperatures ranging between 15°C (59°F)and 26°C (78°F). Bringing a light jacket is a good idea. There’s also a chance of occasional rain, so packing a compact umbrella or raincoat is recommended.
